Mission & History Our Mission Each member of the staff at Gladstone Veterinary Clinic values the human-animal bond. Our mission is to partner with pets and their families to provide high quality care with compassion. Our History Gladstone Veterinary Clinic was built in 1981 and purchased by Dr. Merry Crimi in 1983 after the sudden death of Mohammad Abbas, the original owner. The clinic recently underwent an extensive interior remodel, which was completed in 2005. In January 2007, Dr. Crimi retired and Dr. Tanya ten Broeke purchased the clinic. Established originally as a small animal hospital by one veterinarian, Gladstone Veterinary Clinic is now home to four veterinarians treating all companion animal species. Our dedicated team includes a Practice Manager, Certified Veterinary Technicians, Technician’s Assistants, Hospital Assistants, Professional Groomers, and Client Care Representatives. Gladstone Veterinary Clinic was surveyed and certified by the American Animal Hospital Association shortly after it was built. It continues to undergo periodic volunteer surveys to maintain compliance with the AAHA standards as they change over time with current practices and technologies in order to continue to provide high quality service. Over the years, we have worked hard to develop long-lasting relationships with our diverse clientele, and have second and third-generation families that entrust us with their animal’s care. Our practice continues to grow by word-of-mouth referrals.
