Puppy Wellness
We know how important it is to get puppies off to a great start! Each puppy visit includes a discussion of development, training, and behavior, a nutritional evaluation, as well as a full physical examination. Puppy vaccine boosters are recommended every 3-4 weeks starting at 6-9 weeks of age and repeated until the puppy is at least 16 weeks of age, when maternal antibodies wane and his or her immune system can develop protective immunity for the next year. For older puppies starting vaccinations at 12 weeks of age or later, at least two doses of vaccines given 3-4 weeks apart are required for full protection, with the last booster given on or after 16 weeks of age.
